Our take
I would recommend Coffee House Apartment Motel to families and city-break travellers who want self-contained accommodation in central Rockhampton. The apartments have private balconies, and the outdoor swimming pool and BBQ area are handy for relaxed evenings. The CBD's shopping and nightlife are just one block away, which is convenient, though I would ask about quieter rooms if you sleep lightly. It is a motel-style property, so I would not expect resort facilities.
- ✓Take advantage of the self-contained apartments for longer stays to save on dining out.
- ✓Use the BBQ area by the pool for a relaxed evening meal in the tropical gardens.
- ✓Walk to the CBD for shopping and dining, it's just one block away and easily accessible.

Why guests love itCoffee House Apartment Motel in Rockhampton offers self-contained accommodation with private balconies, an outdoor swimming pool and a BBQ area, and I would recommend it for city stays with children. It is centrally located, just one block from the CBD's shopping and nightlife. That makes it easy to walk to dinner, though a central position can mean some evening noise.
