Our take
Amora Herencia Riverwalk Melbourne earns its place with two things that set the tone of a stay: the river outlook and a restaurant that hosts live jazz. A fitness centre, laundry service and accessible facilities cover the practical side, and WiFi is free. I would pick it for a family stay of a few nights in Abbotsford; travellers after a quiet, adults-only evening may find the music and the family crowd livelier than they want.
- ✓Consider booking a room with a kitchen if you plan to prepare some of your own meals during your stay.
- ✓Check the schedule for live jazz performances at the restaurant if you enjoy evening entertainment.
- ✓Take advantage of the fitness center to stay active, or simply relax in the hotel's courtyard.

Why guests love itAmora Herencia Riverwalk Melbourne gives families river views from many rooms, and some rooms come with a kitchen, which makes simple breakfasts and early dinners easy with children. The restaurant hosts live jazz, a good option for an evening meal without leaving the building, and the courtyard offers a calm corner between outings. More than 1,000 guests rate it 8.4. My advice: ask for a room with a kitchen if you are staying several nights.
