Our take
Quest Preston suits travellers who want independence more than hotel services. Each apartment has a full kitchen, air conditioning and free WiFi, and the fitness centre helps on longer stays. Being pet-friendly makes it an easy pick for anyone travelling with an animal. Its location in Preston, among Melbourne's northern suburbs, is quieter than the city centre, so it works best for guests who do not need to be in the CBD every evening.
