Comfort Inn & Apartments Northgate Airport
Airport-close rooms nine minutes from Northgate station
About this stay
Comfort Inn & Apartments Northgate Airport is built specifically for airport convenience, ten minutes by taxi from Brisbane Airport and nine minutes' walk from Northgate station, making it one of the most transport-connected properties in the wider North Lakes area. The outdoor pool and on-site bar and restaurant cover evening needs without requiring a car, and kitchens in some rooms suit travellers wanting to self-cater before an early flight. At 7.8 out of 10 from 457 reviews, it holds a reasonable reputation for an airport-focused property. An airport shuttle is also available, removing the need for a taxi altogether. The airport-first positioning means less character than some of the beachside or lakefront properties, a fair trade for the transfer convenience on offer.

Our take
This suits travellers flying in or out of Brisbane who want a short, predictable transfer over highway proximity, particularly anyone using the airport shuttle rather than driving. Road-trippers whose priority is Bruce Highway access rather than the airport should look toward the North Lakes cluster further north instead. Confirm shuttle timing directly with the property ahead of an early flight, since schedules can shift around peak travel periods.
- ✓Book the airport shuttle ahead rather than a taxi, it is a genuine cost saver for the short run to Brisbane Airport.
- ✓Use Northgate station if you want to get into central Brisbane without driving, it is a straightforward nine-minute walk.
- ✓Eat at the on-site restaurant the night before an early flight rather than searching for somewhere open nearby.
