Families arriving off a long Limestone Coast drive are the obvious fit, because this is the only Mount Gambier stay with a pool and it is both indoors and heated, so the wind coming off the Southern Ocean does not decide whether anyone swims. Rooms and apartments are air-conditioned with satellite television, electric blankets, a minibar and tea and coffee facilities, and there are family rooms and a children's high chair for younger travellers. Guest laundry facilities matter on a long trip, and the large gardens have a barbecue area with outdoor seating. Continental breakfast can be delivered to the room. The town centre is two minutes away by car, Blue Lake six and Blue Lake Golf Course ten, with free on-site car parking that handles a loaded wagon or a trailer.
