Quality Hotel City Centre
Family-friendly stay with a pool, fitness centre, and free parking in Coffs Harbour
About this stay
This Coffs Harbour hotel is a solid base for families and couples exploring the New South Wales coast. The seasonal outdoor swimming pool is a welcome feature for cooling off, while the on-site fitness centre allows guests to maintain their routine. Evenings can be spent at the hotel bar, or you can venture out to the numerous shops, cafes, and restaurants just 250 metres away. The convenience of free laundry facilities and complimentary on-site parking adds to a hassle-free stay, making it easy to settle in for a few days or as a stopover on a longer road trip. The city centre is only 1 km away, and iconic spots like The Big Banana are a short drive.

Our take
Quality Hotel City Centre is a sensible choice when the plan is to be out most of the day. The seasonal outdoor pool and fitness centre give some downtime, while free WiFi, free on-site parking and laundry facilities remove the small frictions of a road trip. It is a base, not a resort, and I would book it on that basis. The 8.5 score from 1,272 reviews is solid for the category.
- ✓Make the most of the free laundry facilities, especially on a longer road trip
- ✓Take a short walk to the nearby shops and restaurants for dinner options
- ✓Plan a 10-minute drive to The Big Banana for a classic Coffs Harbour photo op
